The award winning RiverWalk Jazz Series is a free jazz series staged on the waterfront RiverWalk Stage in Stuart’s historic district. Rain or shine, on the first Sunday of each month musicians from all over south Florida play their own brand of jazz overlooking the beautiful St. Lucie River. Every show features a different genre of jazz; sometimes its Latin, sometimes it’s Dixie, fusion or gospel, whatever it is, the fans love it and each month return for more.

From its inception in 2007 the RiverWalk Stage, board walk, pier and docks have been packed full with jazz fans from all over the Treasure Coast and beyond to hear Florida jazz artists perform jazz standards, favorites as well as few originals.  The series has become an extremely popular cultural and community event for the historic waterfront area of Stuart.  Jazz fans from Miami to Montreal Canada have dropped by the RiverWalk Jazz booth to express their pleasure of having such a fine jazz series presented in downtown Stuart.

More than just a monthly jazz series in a beautiful setting, the RiverWalk Jazz Series is a true community partnership. Besides the two principal organizations, City of Stuart Parks and Recreation Department and the Stuart News, it also involves active participation and support from the Downtown Business Association, Stuart Main Street, Stuart Heritage, the Arts Council of Martin County and the Road to Victory Military Museum.  The series is sponsored by The Stuart News, City of Stuart and the Law Office of Lauri.
